A bit about me
I’ve been diving for almost 20 years - April 5, 2007 will be the day. If I'd paid more attention over the years, I could have coincided my 20th anniversary of diving with my 5000th dive. As it is I'll probably be a couple hundred dives short... I’ve recently jumped in head first to the world of Technical Diving, and have enjoyed dives to 170 feet, and had the pleasure of spending over 50 minutes decompressing from a 15 minute dive. Deco isn’t especially fun when you are hanging on for dear life, 100 feet underwater, waiting through your first 10 minutes of deco, way out in the middle of Haro Strait... But it is SO worth it! :-) Oh yeah, did I mention that I strap on somewhere near 200 lbs. of dive gear? The good? I can stay down 2.5 to 3 hours at pretty much any depth to 150 feet (that time does include deco stops!)

Favorite Dive Locations
Anywhere near 150 feet underwater! The cold water diving of the San Juan Islands is my favorite, but I also enjoy diving in Hawaii, Mexico, Thailand, and Canada, and hopefully this winter, Argentina! Check out the pictures I've taken in all my favorite dive sites! Click here.
